Services!!!At minmi, Quality Assurance is performed on all projects, with the goal of providing staff and management with objective insight into processes and associated work products.
The Quality Assurance process area at minmi involves the following:
- - Objective evaluations of processes, work products, and services against the applicable process descriptions, standards, and procedures are conducted
- - Non-compliance issues are identified, documented and tracked to resolution
- - Feedback is provided to project managers and staff on the results of quality assurance activities, ensuring that noncompliance issues are addressed
The Quality Assurance process ensures that planned processes are implemented, while the practices in the verification process area ensure that the specified requirements are satisfied
When noncompliance issues are identified, they are first addressed within the project and resolved there if possible. Any noncompliance issues that cannot be resolved within the project are escalated to an appropriate level of management for resolution. This process area also applies to evaluations of non-project activities and work products such as training activities.
Quality Assurance is initiated in the early phases of minmi projects to establish plans, processes, standards, and procedures that will add value to the project and satisfy the requirements of the project and organizational policies.
